Matchweek 6 started of with defending Champions Arsenal who left the Emirates with a 2-1 comeback win against a hard-working Leeds side courtesy of Ricciardo Calafiori and Supersub Bruno Guimaraes. Leeds scored first with James Justin who was wide open at the far side of the box to slot it home, but Mikel Arteta made key changes that swung the game to his favour.
From a comeback at the Emirates to a thrilling last minute comeback at Portman Road as Abdoul Ouattara and Dara O'Shea ensured that Ipswich run away with their third win of this season against Fulham.
Meanwhile point were split at Villa Park between Aston Villa and Brentford, which finished 2-2. Brentford's Yarmoliuk slots home from the edge of the box after a mistake from Tyrone Mings with Nicolas Jackson equalizing for Villa within two minutes. John McGinn then puts Villa in front with Ajer having the final say with a sublime run and finish to boot.
Chelsea returned from the international break with 5-1 thumping win over Bournemouth, who are yet to secure a win this season. The Blues only needed three minutes to take a 2-0 lead with Henderson and Rogers scoring early, with Joao Pedro adding Chelsea's third soon after the restart. Bournemouth's Evanilson then scored from a corner, exploiting The current Club World Cup Winners' problems in defending set pieces. Joao Pedro scored his second and Chelsea's fourth before Henderson rounded off the game with a stunning free kick.
Poor finishing from Sunderland ensured that Brighton walked away with their third straight Premier League win as Maxim De Cuyper and Jaouen Hadjam were on target despite The Seagulls being a man down due to Pascal Struijk's reckless last man challenge on Wilson Isidor.
The last game of the day saw clubs in crisis Manchester United and Tottenham played out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. Spurs inability to put the ball in the back of the net came to bite them as Bryan Mbeumo scored in the 73rd minute. Rodrigo Bentancur was dismissed because of initiating head-to-head contact with Luke Shaw after he reacted to a push from the Left Back. A glancing header from Dominic Solanke earned Roberto Di Zerbi's side just their third point of the season.
